Bonnie

$362.00

Set your eyes on the Bonnie Pumpkin, but be careful! Such a lovely pumpkin, but also very dangerous. Made from alternating black and brown contrasting skirting leather, it can be finished in three ways: left matte, mink-oiled, or polished to a high shine. Bonnie features a brown leather stem and a matching brown leather lid liner.

This pumpkin’s namesake is Bonnie Parker (1910–1934), an American outlaw who, alongside partner Clyde Barrow, captivated the nation during the Great Depression. While often sensationalized as bank robbers, the duo—along with their gang—primarily robbed small stores, gas stations, and rural funeral homes across the Central U.S. Between 1932 and 1934, the Barrow gang was believed to be responsible for the deaths of at least nine police officers and several civilians. Famous for their daring getaways and romanticized defiance, they were finally killed in a violent police ambush on a remote road in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, on May 23, 1934.

The eye-catching alternating black and brown ribs of the pumpkin are sure to draw attention from everyone nearby. Perhaps not the attention a wanted outlaw would wish. With just one wrong look, Bonnie Pumpkin is bound to shoot or hit the road like a jackrabbit!

Each pumpkin from the Tumbleweed Pumpkins patch is handcrafted and unique. Since this item is made from genuine leather, please appreciate the potential natural imperfections, such as slight color variations or surface marks. These characteristics make your piece one-of-a-kind and reflect its quality and true craftsmanship.

The lids of the pumpkins can be opened and are detachable.
